Visiting Tahlia on the Sunshine Coast
Thanks to Tahlia’s hospitality, I spent a few days on the Sunshine Coast. I came up from the Gold Coast, went to shoot in Noosa and then melted on her couch for a night. This was shoot number five of my trip, and I hadn’t even hit the halfway point, and I was starting to feel a little tired. Fortunately, our outward introversion was similar, allowing us to slow down and focus on the work. I often talk too much on shoots; on this occasion, the silence allowed us to work efficiently with trust to get the outcome we wanted.
We shot in her apartment and then spent the afternoon at a local beach. One of the aspects I love about my work is getting to know new people, it’s been over a year of talking, so it was great to finally get to shoot. Whilst both of us were probably feeling a little tired, I am so happy to be able to share these with you.
