Ash in Byron

When I was driving up for my first shoot on this trip, I had picked out some very tropical and wet references. I’d picked out black and white photos due to the impending forecast of a week of rain.

When I reached The Pass in Byron that day, the clouds broke for 2 hours and Ash, and I got some of the best photos I’ve gotten in Northern New South Wales.

Shot entirely on film, as always, across two cameras, a dying Eos 3 and an Eos 5 that would be worst for wear by the end of the trip.

Fortunately, there was no misadventure here, just a beautiful afternoon with Ash Chapman from Busy Models.
