A sunrise with Emily Deyt-Aysage

Emily Deyt-Aysage had a few weeks left in Sydney, and lining this up between storms took a bit of luck — but we managed to catch a perfect window of soft sunrise light at Maroubra, and I’m so glad we did.

These were shot entirely on 35mm film using my Canon EOS 3, with no retouching. Just light, movement, and a quiet kind of clarity that Emily brought so naturally to the frame.
