Georgia Roche at Snapper Rocks
After a long walk in the morning around the lighthouse in Byron, an hour’s drive and a swim in the sun at Duranbah Beach, I met Georgia Roche for a shoot in the afternoon glow at Snapper Rocks. We’d quickly organised this shoot with a few back-and-forth messages and permission from her agency. I sent a brief and met her in the scorching sun. We were fortunate that the light stayed with us as the weather slowly changed from a beautiful sunlit day to an overcast sunset, and I’m glad it did! It gave us a lovely variation, and we could focus on form rather than having me run around trying to push more and more out of the sun. Georgia also had to bare with me as I tried a few things.
I’m delighted with the result, you can book her through Saint Models, and I would; she’s fantastic to work with, especially impressed considering the short amount of time we had to organise this!
As always, shot entirely on film, using Canon 35mm Film SLR’s processed by me at Georges Cameras and unedited.
