Elke at Little Wategos

After a few days on the Gold Coast, I drove back down for a sunrise shoot with Elke. I can’t say getting up at 3:30 AM is my idea of fun but take one look at this sunrise, and you’ll understand why it was worth it.

I’ll never get used to the morning starts or get enough sleep to do them properly; I usually drink a servo iced coffee on the drive to these things. There is something magical about watching the day break, and every time my photos turn out differently, every time, I have to fight with time to make things work.

Every time I meet someone new, and I become friends with them for a morning; I would become friends with Elke from Dust models on this sunrise. We walked to Little Wategos, where I photographed her in a white dress from Sir The Label and swimwear from Triangl Swimwear.
