Little Bay with Checka Castleden from Chic

It is so good to be back at the beach! I was fortunate to head to Little Bay to work with Checka Castleden from Chic Management for a beautiful afternoon sunset. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, but we made it work as the light dropped across and set slowly. We found a nice rock, and Checka got into a blue bikini from Triangl Swim. we wandered around the rock pools, putting on some sunscreen and tan location. Before we blew up an inflatable tube, Checka put on an orange swimwear set from Jatali Swim, and we jumped into the water! As the last of the sun set, we went and dried in the sun up above, before eating some apples as the sun set and we left.

For the first time in a long time, these images are a mixture of film and digital, shot on a Canon Eos 3 and Canon 24-70 L II and a mixture of film stocks including Portra 160, Kodak Gold, Fujifilm 400 and one of my favourite stocks Washi X 100, and the GFX100 S II, 32-64mm and 45-100mm. A camera setup that took stunning photos and, with a bit more practice, can help me match my film.

Big thank you to Checka for joining me. As it’s still a little chilly when the sun sets, you can reach out to Chic to book her. She’s an incredible talent and has the most amazing smile, as you’ll see below.
